Badger Brawl is considered an open show with the exception of Showmanship which cuts off at age 21.

Heifers born after Sept 1, 2024 are eligible to show are eligible to show.  Breed heifers show by age. Registration papers are required.  Screen shots, on-line verification is acceptable.  Type ‘pending’ for registration number if not complete at time of entry.

Breed steers require a registration paper or bill of sale from breeder.  

Steers, Market Heifers and Commercial Heifers will be weighed during check-in process.  Steers and Market Heifers under 1,000# are eligible to show.    Weights will be recorded by show personnel. No refunds for overweight market animals. 

Entries completed before October 15th, includes exhibitor t-shirt.

Early entry deadline is November 27th.
Late entries open November 28th.

Health Rules

All cattle must meet Wisconsin health requirements. Cattle must be free of ringworm, warts, and/or any other infectious disease.

ALL OUT OF STATE CATTLE MUST HAVE AN USDA APPROVED TAG IN THEIR EAR AND THE NUMBER LISTED ON THE CVI — NO EXCEPTIONS! Any out of state animal that does not have this type of tag must leave WI, along with all other cattle in the same trailer. Due to an incident last year, Wisconsin Department of Agriculture, Trade and Consumer Protection agents have indicated they may be on-site to ensure compliance. 

CVI’s will be reviewed at check-in. Please bring a copy we can keep.

No refunds are given for any animal directly or indirectly sent home for violation of health requirements.
